The booming bass of the techno music reverberated through Y/N’s legs, making her blood feel like it was bouncing to the rhythm. She had been sitting in the company of her fellow Avengers and just talking, having a good time, as Tony, of course, had decided to throw a gala to celebrate whatever. That is until her eyes befell on a certain dark-haired super soldier. He was sitting by the bar, a dark blue button up and black jeans adorning his frame, but most of all, his arm was wrapped around a woman’s figure as they whispered things into one another’s ears.
Now, it wasn’t Y/N’s place to tell Bucky who he could date and who he couldn’t. They were friends, really good ones, but nothing more. Even though the girl thought she was pretty obvious with her affectionate displays and the messages she was sending, hoping there could be something more. But apparently not.
When Steve had caught her gaze still on the pair, he wanted to pull Y/N up. To lead her to the dance floor and make her forget about them, but he was too late. His own heart ached for the Y/H/C haired girl and eyes filled with fury looking at his best friend and how dumb he could be to not see who actually cared for him and wanted to be with him.
Nat was managing the bar, having a conversation with Rhodey while doing so, but the instant she saw Y/N approaching concern could be evident in the green eyes.
“Give me a vodka bottle,” Y/N outstretched a hand.
“Sweetie, I don-“ Nat started but was immediately cut off by the woman.
“Please, Nat. Just give me the bottle.”
There was such pleading, such pain in the young Avenger’s eyes, she couldn’t not obey and taking a full unopened bottle handed it to Y/N. Rhodey looked down at his drink and clenched and un-clenched his palms as to not break Bucky’s nose with how oblivious he was being.

AVENGERS 4 TITLE SPECULATION
Recently, it’s been teased that Avengers 4’s subtitle will consist of two words, the first begining with “F”, and the other begining with “H”. I’ve seen people begin to speculate, and the best they’ve come up with is “Fallen Heroes”. It’s certainly a fitting title, but I think it sounds far too cliché and simple for Marvel Studios, and a movie of this caliber.

I have a few of my own title speculations which I feel could all be fitting and plausible. Lemme know what you think, and leave a comment - tell me what titles you’ve come up with! Hopefully the rumor is true, or else we’ll all look like idiots for speculating with these two letters…
